BMW N20 N55 In Tank Fuel Pump (Low Pressure)

Low Pressure Fuel Pump Fuel Sender units for N20 and N55 F series platforms.

These units come complete (complete fuel pump assembly with housing, pump, float (fuel level sensor) and associated in-built filter). Fully plug and play.

Pro tip: to avoid premature wear of your low-pressure fuel pump, avoid running your vehicle on reserve fuel level, as the pump uses the fuel that it is submerged in to maintain lower operating temperature. Running the vehicle low on fuel as a result, causes an increase in running temperature of the pump, and exposes the unit to possible overheating.

Running your car on reserve fuel level also causes the low-pressure fuel pump to suck up debris that settles at the bottom of your fuel tank, causing contamination of the fuel strainer in the pump assembly, adversely affecting your fuel pump efficiency.
